Catherine's designs have featured in magazines and newspapers, such as Gardens Illustrated, Elle Deco,Homes and Gardens, The Times and The Telegraph as well as several books including 'Gardens by Design' by Noel Kingsbury. She has appeared on Woman's Hour, Radio 4 discussing her show garden at Westonbirt and her RSPB wildlife garden has featured on Gardeners' Questiontime.

Her own book, 'A New Naturalism', written with Juliet Sargeant, is published by Packard Publishing. She has also contributed to a forthcoming book, Urban Wildscapes, published in 2011 by Routledge. Catherine has also written numerous articles for the Garden Design Journal.

Catherine is undertaking research into the landscape design of brownfield sites for the Department of Landscape at the University of Sheffield.
